Canine influenza actually comes from Asia, but it has nothing to do with bird flu. There is no vaccine for 80% of dogs coming into contact with infected animals due to the major illness of dogs and the relatively new appearance of the virus. It is a highly contagious and potentially deadly new virus that causes respiratory infections only among dogs.
