We met a really wonderful woman while sitting at the table with my sister when I was told that it was a health fair in mid-September. As it turned out, this was clearly not a health fair, and Grace Jones was the only person who stopped and talked to me with my sister that day. You might think it's just a ridiculous coincidence, but I don't believe in coincidence. I know in my heart that I was going to meet that day. I am very grateful.
Grace stopped to comment on how she loves my black shirt with a purple butterfly painted ... Telling me that purple is also her favorite color. She asked a few questions about Reiki and the crystal healing pouch I created while looking at what I was selling on my table. This immediately looked like a conversation with an old friend and shared with me that her story and surgery that she was diagnosed with colon cancer was scheduled for the end of this month. This is the story Grace decided not to share with her family. She was honored to feel comfortable enough to share her story with me. In talking with Grace, I immediately got a sense of her soul.
Looking back at the cancer diagnosis that came to me in my life, I remember a vast array of emotions that overflowed me every day. However, the woman standing in front of me emitted strength, aggressiveness, love, and such light. I might never know what she was experiencing if she didn't tell me just her life and passion for her voice and voice. I could feel the brightest light in her soul. While talking about her diagnosis, she knew that she would go beyond the shadow of doubt, find a rainbow at the end of everything, and give her a stronger and brighter grace than before. What a truly wonderful woman, now I feel blessed to call her my friend.
A few days after meeting Grace, she told me about Medical Reiki and asked about all the healing effects of Reiki before, during, and after surgery. Grace asked her to reiki during the surgery and was honored to participate in this beautiful woman's healing journey. I immediately sent a post to all of the Certified Medical Reiki Master's sisters and was together on Grace's surgery day with the thoughts of Heath, love and light. Due to the short notice I couldn't be in the operating room with her, but planned a 2 hour Reiki session during her surgery and provided Reiki infusions several hours after the surgery. Hopefully she recovers quickly, rests in a balloon-filled room and begins to heal. Prior to her surgery, Grace arranged for herself a room that felt like a celebration was taking place while she was there. This was how Grace lived her life and it was shining every time. Even after surgery, she wanted to see the fun of light and happiness surrounding her while healed in the hospital room.
Grace shared her phone number with her daughter so we could touch the base after her surgery and listen to all her miraculous milestone updates after each day I was very happy to be able to. A few days later, Grace emailed me with great updates about her feelings and returned completely to her true happy self. Three weeks later, Grace and I met for a brunch and the boy looked like she was absolutely amazing. Again, if there was such a light in her heart, this beautiful woman was just shining, so I could not guess everything she experienced. And this tells me the volume of her person. I learned that day, like most of us, she has a little less story than the wonderful things she has endured in her life. Sitting across from this wonderful grace, through her own trials and hardships in life, did not penetrate the darkness into the light of her heart, body, and soul. In fact, she was planning a wonderful trip to London with her daughter to celebrate her life in the coming weeks. She is such a wonderful soul ... really inspires me!
Grace, thank you for being part of a healing journey and being able to share the story after cancer diagnosis and surgery. It is my hope that everyone, including me, will realize many blessings of life around us and continue to see all of us hit the path of life. What makes all the difference in our lives is exactly how you handle those bumps. From just a little bit of what I learned about Grace, I know she is constantly watching the sun in the rain. This is really important, it is a life that is really alive, and what is life. If we all learn to do this, the world will be brighter. Grace, for me, you are always a great grace and I feel blessed to know you. XO XO
This is a summary of the healing time sent to all certified Medical Reiki Master sisters who sent love and light to everyone involved in Grace's surgery.
Thanks to all the thoughts that have sent us our way while doing a reiki for a truly touching positive woman who has undergone colorectal cancer surgery. I wanted to share a great summary of miraculous healing. After surgery, I received a report from my daughter that the surgery was successful. On the third day, Grace emailed me to be fine and healthy while in the hospital. On the fourth day, Grace reaches all milestones and is released the next day. She reports that all doctors have done amazing things about her healing progress. On the sixth day, she reported no pain from surgery, but only severe back pain from a hospital bed. On the 10th day, Grace reports that it is enough to go to the beach and heal at her happy place and is getting stronger every day. On the 12th day she met a doctor and received news that the surgery revealed stage 2 colon cancer. They got it all, but it didn't spread, so no radiation or chemotherapy was needed. She reports that she is healing very well and feels good! Her body works fine and the appetite is good! I am truly blessed to have received such great news and to support her on this healing journey. I was grateful for the idea of healing and support and wanted to deliver great news about healing.
