The timber industry is a century of new innovations in how to significantly extend the life of timber without the use of harsh toxins and arsenic poisons, and without the need for huge and highly specialized wood processing plants such as vac-vac Seems more waiting and pressure treatment. That said, most people still go out and buy green pre-treated wood for all kinds of projects. I am not thinking about the potential dangers and dangers I face with using this kind of wood. Even the best builders use it, and surprisingly, some municipalities still use it to build children's playgrounds. Of course, I think that children are really safe because they never bite or bite.
New homes are built using pre-treated wood, but OSB boarding literally falls apart when moisture enters. Expensive trailer manufacturers are used, like all other things that are built using traditional methods, lining the trailer wall with plywood and using pre-treated wood as an internal support Wood that is poisonous, dangerous, or can quickly lose dimensional stability in the event of moisture, not to mention what happens when insects that eat small wood get there. Why should we ask ourselves questions now? After all, it's you, me and our family, and forgive phrases that are fed up with something like this. Especially when it starts to rot and simply starts to fall apart due to insect attack. Again, there is probably no choice. There is no real alternative that can do it all for wood and if it is safe.
Well, my friend told me about some of my recent experiments, some of my research, and the facts I got. First and foremost, I need to mention that I am qualified in entomology and mycology and have been professionally involved in wood conservation and professional treatment for over 30 years. There is a wonderful all-natural organic product formulated with cedar oil base and called Cedarshield Petri-Wood. The name stems from the fact that when this unique liquid is actually applied to wood, it causes the first stage of timber petrification. This product is called a liquid because it is certainly not a chemical substance. It is truly completely natural and what it can do is literally very nice. I know an old saying “If it seems too good to be true, it's normal.” And with that in mind, I decided to try out the pace of this product in every conceivable way and say it I was convinced that I would find a real fault to report.
How wrong is it? I read reports from all manufacturers, reports from testing universities and prominent scientists, as well as fairly long reports from tests conducted by the US government. I took the liquid and used it to process 8 separate pieces of the same bare material. He also obtained a 5ft heavy section of wood pillar and used it to drill two holes to inject pressure. The first thing to notice in all cases was that the liquid did not stain or discolor the wood. Also, in the pressure injection process, red food coloring was added to the liquid so that you can see where it went inside the wood. Using 8 bare timbers, 4 timbers were pasted on 4 brooks in the garden and made heavy with heavy stones. They are currently suspended about an inch from the bottom and are completely covered with 5 inches of continuous flowing water. They stayed there for over 4 weeks. The other four parts were placed on the ground below my vertical sp, one flat on the soil in the garden, one at the end of my roadway where rainwater was recessed towards the storm drainage, The last part is about 15 inches above the ground I've typed in and about 15 inches above the ground. They were also left for more than 4 weeks. With a large heavy section pole cut that I infused, I just put it on the pavement next to our house and stay for the same period as everything else.
It is worth mentioning that there are many different types of ants in our garden. Not to mention all the other small insects and night creatures that crawl the moist ground. Well, Saturday was when I decided to take all the test samples and examine them one by one. Of course, they were all very wet and quite dirty. They were all stopped with a hose, stood against the chain link fence, and the surface water was dried. After about 1 hour, I went out and started the test. I cut the end of the 4 pieces that were sinking into the creek about an inch, but I was surprised to find that the wood was still dry inside. I used a Protimeter and found that in almost all cases there was less water than was shown before submersion. This was impressive. The other four pieces gave equally impressive results with meters and crosscuts, but the ones that were buried in moist soil were the most interesting. I cross-cut at three places, but like the other places, the inside was dry and the wood was not soft. The surface area in the basement had a slight moisture reading, but when I looked closely, I came to the opinion that my reading was not from the wood itself, but from soil confined to the grain. Did. Impressed once again, there are still heavy poles to test, which is more complicated.
I stood and tied a 5 foot wood pillar on two saw horses. I used a chainsaw to cut out about 4 inches from both ends, but surprisingly, it always had a pink red pole. This was, of course, food color, but remember that only two small holes were injected about 5 inches from one end. Sawcut showed that the dye penetrated the entire length of the wood and penetrated all the way to the heartwood. There was no moisture and the wood was very hard and strong. The other thing I pointed out in all the works was not evidence of surface damage by insects, but this was definitely uncommon to say the least. It ended by cutting the length of the pole wisely and then crossing again. I was impressed now that in all sections of the tree we found that the red dye was obvious and superior and that all parts of the pole provided a moisture-free reading.
For all prints collected from the cedarshield.ca website with this product, I was skeptical of some of the claims that "This is the best and deepest penetrating and longest-lasting wood preservative in history and still good" . “After one trial, another scientist said,“ This is a magic bullet that the timber industry has long been waiting for, ”said one prominent US scientist. According to website reports, Petriwood not only triggers the first stage of timber petrification, but also immediately removes all the inherent water and moisture associated with it, and the stability of the dimensions and structure of the wood being processed There will be warp or split, etc. to stop and stop the wood cupping. It also protects wood from all forms of decay, fungal decay, mold, moisture and water attacks. It also protects against attacks by all kinds of wood-destroying insects such as carpenter ants, longhorn beetles and termites. Wow, my statement on this. Because now I am convinced that it is all true. I believe this is a product that literally changes the world and is confident that it should be a surname in every country. It can also be used for mold growth. This means that if a builder starts using it when building a new timber frame building, there is no need to worry about the hidden timber being corrupted, attacked by insects, or even the growth of mold . Apparently, the processes involved in manufacturing these cedar-based products are time consuming and expensive, mainly because they must all remain natural. The price of the product is not something I call cheap, so it reflects this slightly. However, when you think about what you actually do, it's not ridiculously expensive. Petriwood, for example, is a “one-time lifetime application”, and anything that can make that claim, especially all-natural, is not yet on the market.
If you are like me and decide to give Petri-Wood a try, be prepared to be happy and satisfied with the results you have achieved. Also, at the cedarshield.ca site, there is a special injection system specially designed for processing wood utility poles, which provides the company with an unprecedented 50 year warranty on the processed poles I discovered that Well, why would they offer it safe if they still didn't know that something like this would work, and that they would provide such a written guarantee? To summarize all the above, this product is very nice and the fact that it is completely non-toxic, non-chemical and non-hazardous to either us or our environment is even more attractive is. I make it plus 10 in every way.
