Asian cuisine can generally be divided into several categories based on local cooking style and local people and culture. The main categories of Asian cuisine include East Asia, Southeast Asia, South Asia, Central Asia and the Middle East. However, for general purposes, Asian cuisine [also called Asian cuisine] mainly includes South Asian and Southeast Asian cuisine. The main countries that make up this region are India, China, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Burma and others.

Because Japan is an island country, many foods contain fish and fish-based ingredients. Rice and sliced ​​salted vegetables are a staple of Japanese cuisine. Soy products such as soy sauce, taste paste, and tofu are also used in many Japanese cooking. Japanese cuisine includes sushi, teriyaki sauce meat, lightly fried meat and fish, and shellfish called tempura. Japanese food is healthy, delicious and easy to cook. It is low fat, low cholesterol and famous for reducing heart related diseases.

Different parts of India are known for different cultural backgrounds, but also for different tastes and dishes. Vegetarian dishes include Gujarat Kakra and Dokra, Rajasthan Darbarti Cholma, Kashmir Damualoo, South Indian Dosa and Quesar River. Non-vegetarian dishes, especially tandoori varieties, were specially devised for Indian Nawabs. The saffron-flavored reshimi kebab, lime juice and garlic marinated fish tikka serve as a delicious appetizer in combination with yogurt-marinated chicken shike kebab. Tandoori cuisine is the perfect proof of Indian cultural diversity and royal wealth.

Asian recipes were easily shared among Asian women. Women generally gathered after a long day of work to discuss what happened that day. Many of these recipes are kept as important family secrets and are carefully passed from generation to generation. Thai cuisine is a blend of Chinese, Malay, Indian, Myanmar, Khmer, Lao, and to a lesser extent Portuguese cuisine. It is a harmonious blend of indigenous spices. Malaysian cuisine consists of fish, seafood, vegetables and chicken, but beef remains inconspicuous. It is usually hotter than Chinese food. Indonesian cuisine is known for its unique blend of sweetness and sourness. Asian food chains have great potential today because Asian food chains are emerging very rapidly around the world and are very popular.
