Pink is a calm color. In some prisons, prisoners are sedated to the extent that they are thrown into a room painted in a specific shade of pink and calmed down. In sports, you can weaken the opponent team by preparing a pink locker room before the match. Pink relaxes the muscles and soothes pain and hostility.
Pink is a girly color associated with baby girls. In hospitals, newborn girls are wrapped in pink blankets and boys are wrapped in blue. Sweet and soft color. Things that give off innocence and kindness. Quality traditionally attributed to women.

CODEPINK is an example. This is a grassroots movement led by US women to end the war in Iraq. Soldiers' mothers, daughters, wives, and loved ones sent peacefully to the war campaign will end the war, stop the new war, and instead direct the resources allocated to the war to medicine and education.
