Explain the important elements of a house: the horizontal floor where everything is located. The floor defines the actual living space surrounded by walls.
The more civilized a country, the more materials it uses for flooring. In a rural village in Central Asia where people work in fields and gardens, the house has no floor. The floor is made of dense clay. Wealthy people cover the floor with carpets made of camel wool, and the poor are covered with thin and cheap rugs. In Central Asia without timber, there was no material suitable for poor flooring, and only the wealthy could afford ceramic flooring made of burnt clay.
In Europe, wood was the most common flooring. And tracking the evolution of wood as a flooring material makes it very clear that the width of this coating has changed depending on the ability of the people to handle it. As long as everything was done using a single x, the width of the timber board was 100-120 mm. When the chainsaw was invented, the width dropped to 40-50mm. The milling machine can now use boards with a width of 16-30 mm.
I am less familiar with the superior materials for flooring than wood-it is the most humane, warm, clean, practical, aesthetic, durable and easy to maintain. Of course, this refers to real wood, either parquet [made of harder wood] or wood board [made of softer wood].
The most durable flooring is parquet. With proper care and 3-4 refurbishment cycles, the width is narrow [16 mm], but it can last for a century. During polishing, widths of up to 7 mm may be peeled off and are as good as new after lacquering.
Naturally, laying parquet requires technical and strict compliance. It is advisable to lay parquet in areas that can get wet, such as kitchens, toilets, and bathrooms. But in the hallway, bedroom, living room, dining room looks perfect and clean.
The parquet floor can be made to suit everyone's taste. Simple and discreet, or a stunningly beautiful look with flashy patterns and decorations on the floor. I have seen various parquets in Vietnam. The colors range from lemon yellow to flamingo pink, and the country is rich in exotic forests. Without a doubt, talented designers can turn these colors into floor “laces”.
The durability of parquet is based on parquet. A dry, non-cracking wooden base [such as multilayer plywood] is very suitable for parquet work.
Speaking of real parquet, you should mention all of its similar products, cheap and less durable flooring. The most popular is laminate-flooring made of a thin layer of wood combined by heat and pressure applied simultaneously. The top layer of the laminate floor has a high-resolution photo of wood, covered with high-quality lacquer. The laminates are attached together and are very similar to parquet. As a rule, it consists of a narrow board with a maximum width of 1.2 meters and a thickness of 8-9 mm.
After explaining the parquet, move on to another wood flooring-polished floorboard. Its appearance depends on how the board is dried and milled. When done properly, the vibrant texture of the wood is maintained and the board can be lacquered. If the boards are bent but not uniform, they need to be painted and painted. The board thickness is 32-40 mm and the distance between the bearer beams is 70-90 cm. Easy enough to repair a polished board floor. Over time, the bearer beam will loosen and the beam will be strengthened and the same board will be densely placed to correct the board being removed [one or two boards will be added per room]. After such modifications, the floor is valid for an additional 15-20 years.
