 Cardiovascular Fitness is About Physics Not Physique 1

When people think about cardiovascular fitness, they often imagine young men with six pack abs and wavy muscles. He can find him in the infomercials to get the latest power drinks, diet pills, or very expensive training equipment. “You look like me too!” In fact, crash diets and unrealistic training routines have little to do with fitness. True fitness is more about physics than physique. So what does cardiovascular fitness mean? To answer that question, you need to define it.

The Centers for Disease Control defines cardiovascular fitness as “the ability of the body to ingest, transport and use oxygen”. * 1 In other words, is your body using oxygen efficiently? Consider factors that affect oxygen efficiency.

* How oxygen enters the system
* Oxygen in the bloodstream
* Wear and tier on the system
* Heart strength

How oxygen enters the system
The room air contains only 16% oxygen. When inhaled, oxygen enters the lungs and moves to the bloodstream by gas exchange. However, breathing from a damaged lung dramatically reduces the percentage of oxygen absorbed into the bloodstream. Conversely, carbon dioxide and other waste gases are not effectively exhaled and accumulate in the body.

Oxygen in the bloodstream
A component in the blood called hemoglobin or red blood cells collects oxygen molecules from the lungs and transports them outside the body. Hemoglobin exchanges oxygen with carbon dioxide molecules and returns them to the lungs. Along the way, fat, sugar and plaque are also picked up. These ingredients are sticky like sludge and adhere to the walls of the container. This narrows the passage, raises the walls, and dramatically increases the pressure required to move blood through the narrow opening. This stresses the heart because it has a hard time keeping blood pressure elevated.

Wear and tare on the system
Your heart moves from the moment you get pregnant until you die. An average of 80 beats per minute, 4,800 beats per hour, 115200 beats per day, and 42,076,800 beasts all rest a year. After 50 years, your heart will rest and beat on average 2,103,840,000 times. Preventive maintenance is an important factor for keeping your body moving smoothly and feeling well.

Heart strength
All muscles share one common point. If you don't use it, you lose it. If you don't train your heart muscles, your muscles will relax and become weaker and larger. Your heart can no longer pump effectively. As oxygen levels drop, the body reacts by stopping circulation to the limbs. Symptoms include confusion, cold limbs, and shortness of breath.

To avoid this domino effect, the American Heart Association and the American College of Sports Medicine recommend the following guidelines: “For adults aged 18 to 65, moderate intensity activity is required for at least 30 minutes, 5 days a week.” * 2 You can choose activity and timing.

What does Cardiovascular Fitness mean? It is the overall health of the cardiovascular system that ensures the optimal and efficient use of oxygen. Like any great effort, it all starts with the first step. What are you looking for?

getting started
* Tell your doctor that you are starting a cardiovascular fitness program. Physicians can initially provide some boundaries and a reasonable goal towards that.
* Select a program or activity that you can enjoy.
The program must include FIT * 3
Frequency [number of times per week]
Intensity [activity speed or workload]
Time [period of each session]
* Collect your support team to avoid disappointment.
* Then record your experience, success, and your milestones. When you see how far you have come, you can continue the rest of your long, happy and healthy life.
