Due to an increase in acid reflux attacks, especially at night, I was forced to visit my doctor at the end of 2006. Acid reflux, where stomach acid goes up the esophagus and back to the mouth, causes a burning sensation in the throat. This situation has reached the stage of taking antacids up to 5 times a night.
I have had acid reflux for several years and have been medically managed with Prilosec. I've noticed that reflux has worsened over the past few months, so I added pepsid AC at night and recently doubled the dose of Prilosec because of the obvious symptoms of esophagitis. My doctor also took lansoprazole, a proton pump inhibitor. One month later, the acid reflux was stopped. I thought I was cured. However, three weeks after completing the tablet course, the reflux returned and began to suffer from heartburn. Also, my entire digestive system began to slow down and I became constipated. My colon is sensitive to this day. Then I went back to my doctor and suggested riflaxamine, a natural acid reflux mitigator. I started Refluxamine a few weeks ago, but while taking all the antacids, the symptoms of esophagitis disappeared and the side effects of antacids and lansoprazole disappeared. I am currently continuing Refluxamine. It would be great if we could gradually wean all antacids like Prilosec and Pepcid AC.
One thing I like about Refluxamine is that it took only a few days to get a positive result after launching the product. In addition, my doctor says that riflaxamine is made entirely of natural ingredients and does not use harmful steroids, fillers, or chemicals, so it is quite safe to take regularly. The Initially, rifaxamine contains licorice and is worried that blood pressure may increase, but doctors have ensured that blood pressure does not affect abnormal levels.
