Les Paul. fender. These are two very famous guitar brands and you don't have to be the musician who heard them, they imply a high quality product by its name.
Electric guitars differ from acoustic guitars because they use a pickup to convert string vibrations into electrical signals. With an acoustic guitar, musicians play strings and a wooden soundboard shines in addition to the air inside and outside the body. Electrical ones take it a step further and usually use different types of pickups. The pickup is usually connected to an amplifier and sent to the speaker so that the sound can be heard sufficiently. Electric guitars generate little noise on their own, but are not useful when trying to listen to music.
The amplified electric guitar was invented in 1931 and quickly became a big hit by jazz guitarists. The jazz guitarist was able to listen for the first time in a large band ensemble at that time. The sound pioneers included Les Paul, T-Bone Walker, and Charlie Christian. Name a band that does not use a quick or electric guitar. Is n’t it difficult?
Like acoustic guitars, the type of electric varies greatly by brand and model. The shape of the body, neck, bridge and pickup can all be different, so you can generate different sounds and do different things with that sound. With a fixed bridge, musicians can not only bend the sound up and down, but there are always new playing techniques that allow for a whole new sound from the same guitar. Hitting with a hammer, bending a string, tapping, or playing a slide guitar are all used to change it and add interest to the music.
Like most, electric guitars come in a variety of models, including typical 6-string, 7-string, 12-string, hollow body, and solid body. Today's popular band uses two or more guitars to polish their favorite songs. This makes melodies, chord sequences and rhythms stand out.
What would you do without an electric guitar?
