What are the specific formulations of perfumes available?
The range of fragrances in this world can only be characterized as wonderful. However, narrowing them down, there are some specific types of formulations that are available. Fragrances are included in the original straight perfume essences of Eau De Parfum, Eau De Toilette and Eau De Cologne. The main difference between them is only the amount of essential oils that are incorporated into them when they are created. The higher the amount of essential oil, the less the fragrance will stay on the skin and the less it is necessary to use it. Perfume companies are also developing tester formulations.
Perfum: This is the most powerful formulation available in fragrances. It consists of a 15-30% concentration of the original essence. Just use a small amount on your own to get a very long-lasting scent, and depending on your skin type, it can last up to 6 hours after spraying straight perfume itself. It's a little weak and the concentration is only 8-15%. Still, it is very long and lasts about 3-5 hours. The great advantage is that this formulation is less expensive than Perfume.
Eau De Toilette [EDT]: This prescription is now generally available in retail stores because it is considered very cheap for most people. In EDT, each unit contains 4-8 percent of the original essence and lasts 2-4 hours compared to the corresponding one.
Cologne [EDC]: The weakest formulation in the world of perfumes, commonly known simply as the colon. There is only 3-5% of the essence, the colon may last for only 2 hours and then disappear rapidly.
Tester: Another form of scent that exists is a tester. Although not manufactured for sale, testers are a great way to test perfume for us. As an excellent promotional material, testers can be found mainly in retail stores where perfume is sold. There are testers that are subjective products, so you can smell and decide before you buy. They regularly come in white boxes and the word “tester” is printed on the scented bottle itself. Although they are not manufactured for sale, recently it has become a very common practice for outlets to sell excess testers to customers.
So how can you make the scent last longer?
There is a skill called “Fragrance Slayer”. Basically, the same scented layer can be built on the skin by applying different formulations with similar scents such as soap, bath oil or gel, cream or body lotion, dusting powder or eau de toilette. Any of these can accumulate other odors, and in some cases the effect can be up to 4 times higher.
Store perfume in a cool, dry place away from heat and sunlight. This is because the extreme environment affects the fragile balance of the essential oil and affects its scent.
If you want to use different perfumes throughout the year, you can put the opened perfume bottle in the refrigerator to extend the shelf life so that it doesn't fade over time.
