That is not what it is in the real world, it is for sure. It ’s not the day everyone draws into the office and puts the bag under their eyes. It's not the day people sit in front of computers and complain about how many weeks are coming. And that is definitely not the day people fear.
In fact, it is completely the opposite.
In the fitness world, more specifically in the bodybuilding world, Monday is a chest day. Monday is a national celebration. Monday is the busiest day of the gym, all benches are used, and everyone is excited before training to work their favorite body parts.
I'm not really a joke.
Chest day is real, every Monday, 52 weeks.
For five years I lived like a bodybuilder.
When I was 18, I graduated from a high school weighing more than 100 pounds, but I experienced severe malnutrition for years because I didn't know about celiac disease for gluten. By the time I was 23 I was 170 pounds, had little body fat and was a fitness model.

The gym community can directly experience that they love Monday. Monday is actually the best day of the week. When I left college and started my first real job and decided I didn't want to make my life bodybuilding, I was overwhelmed by the difference in mentality between the gym and the work world. Monday was a day for everyone else to complain. Instead of hearing hundreds of pounds of screams and screams rushing towards the sky, we have a cry on the weekend and hope it is already Friday.
I learned many lessons from my year as a bodybuilder.
I ate 6 meals a day for 5 years.
I lifted it for 2-3 hours at night. I slept for 8 hours to maximize muscle recovery. I walked around with a gallon of water filled with strawberry BCAAs. I wanted to sit in a creative writing class at the university, bend my calf and train my muscles while talking about Hemingway. I carried a bowl with my backpack, so I didn't fall into catabolism. I didn't have a party. I did not drink alcohol. He enthusiastically tracked how many grams of protein, carbohydrates and fat I was eating every day.
