Located in the northeastern part of the Caribbean, on the eastern side of the Dominican Republic and on the western part of the US Virgin Island is the place known as "Raisla del Encanto" or "Enchanting Island"-Puerto Rico. Certainly, with its unique and natural beauty, everyone will fall in love with this US territory.
People in this country are known for their colorful race, language and religion. The island has multicultural and bilingual societies influenced primarily by Africans, Spanish, Africans, and America. In general, Puerto Ricans are friendly people and greet guests with the best hospitality. They also love to live authentic, honest and peaceful lives.
Puerto Rico has two official languages: Spanish and English. However, most Puerto Ricans used Spanish. English is used as a mandatory language in schools and is widely used in research, industry, and business.
Christianity is the main religion of the island. Most people here are Roman Catholics. Some follow the teachings of Judaism, Islam, and Protestants.
Finally, when it comes to art and literature, the country has long been known for its art of telling stories. Music, on the other hand, plays an essential role in the lives of Puerto Ricans. Their music is mainly influenced by Spanish, African, Indian and Taino. They also have their own musical style known as “Bomba” which is a musical expression using drums made by Africans and known as “Bomba”.
